WHAT TO DO

Rome in late October offers mild weather, beautiful light, and fewer crowds than the Summer peak—perfect for exploring at an easy pace. Whether it’s your first visit or a return trip, here are a few ideas to enjoy the city during your stay.

See the Classics
Visit Rome’s iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. Many are close together and ideal for a relaxed walking day.

Art & History
Explore the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel (advance tickets recommended), step inside St. Peter’s Basilica, or spend time at the Borghese Gallery and Gardens for art paired with a peaceful setting.

Eat & Drink Like a Local
Wander Trastevere, enjoy a long lunch at a traditional trattoria, stop for espresso or aperitivo, browse Campo de’ Fiori, and don’t skip gelato—Rome is meant to be enjoyed slowly.

Stroll & Soak It In
Take a sunset walk from Pincian Hill, stroll along the Tiber River, or simply sit at a café and people-watch. Some of the best moments come from unplanned wandering.

Optional Day Trips
If time allows, consider a half-day trip to Tivoli, explore the ruins of Ostia Antica, or join a food or pasta-making class for a memorable local experience.

We hope you take time to explore, relax, and enjoy Rome at your own pace while celebrating with us.
