FAQ
We thought you may have some questions about our weekend.
If you still have queries beyond these, please do not hesitate to reach out
to our wedding planner, as applicable.
When Should We Arrive?
We recommend arriving in Rome on October 20th, as wedding festivities will begin on October 21st. This allows time to settle in, adjust to the time zone, and enjoy the city before the celebrations start. If your schedule allows, arriving earlier or staying a bit longer is a great way to make the most of your trip to Rome.
Do I Need a Passport?
Yes, you will need a valid passport to travel to Italy. Please check your passport as soon as possible to ensure it will be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates (through April 2026, to be safe). Many countries do not allow entry if your passport is close to expiring, so we recommend renewing it promptly if needed.
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. Guests traveling on a U.S., Canadian, UK, or EU passport do not currently need a visa for short stays in Italy, but we encourage you to check the specific requirements for your country of citizenship well in advance of travel.
Are our children invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding and wedding events will be for those who your invitation is addressed to. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can unwind & celebrate with us!
Am I allowed to bring a Plus One?
Unless your invitation indicates a guest, the guest list is strictly for those the invitation is addressed to. Due to venue size, we will only be able to accommodate those whose names are listed on the invitations. We appreciate your understanding.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The weekend events will be a combination of indoor and outdoor celebrations across some of Rome’s most beautiful villas and venues. October in Rome brings pleasant autumn weather, with daytime temperatures around 70°F / 21°C and cooler evenings. We recommend light, comfortable fabrics for daytime events and bringing a shawl or light jacket for the evening, especially for outdoor portions of the celebration.
What is the Dress Code for the Events?
For Thursday, we invite you to dress in festive Indian Attire. If you need a suggestion for where to secure your Indian clothes, we recommend THIS and THIS online boutiques.
On Friday, the wedding day calls for Formal Attire / Black Tie Optional. Long gowns or refined cocktail dresses are perfect for the ladies, while gentlemen are encouraged to wear a dark suit or tuxedo.
Please note that some events will take place outdoors or on historic villa grounds, so we recommend block heels or dressy flats for comfort and ease.
